Adult Christian Education and Formation

We offer Adult Bible study classes on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am - 11:30 am in the lounge.

Adult Bible Study will resume on May 1st at 10 am in the Lounge.  The group will continue studying  the saga of King David by studying the book of I Kings.  A flier with reading assignments and meeting dates is posted on the bulletin board outside the Lounge.  For additional information, please call the parish office at (973) 285-0884.  All are welcome!

Adult Christian Education classes are offered on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm.

This year our class will explore what it means to be part of the Episcopal Church tradition.  The class will take a journey through The Book of Common Prayer, discuss basic beliefs of our faith, and use as a guide the book Walk in Love, Episcopal Beliefs and Practices, written by two Episcopal priests, Scott Gunn and Melody Wilson.  Topics discussed will include understanding the liturgical year, the sacraments, habits of daily prayer, and the teachings of Anglican Christianity.    For additional information, please call the parish office at (973) 285-0884.  All are welcome!

We also offer a Christian Meditation Group on Wednesdays from 12 Noon - 1 pm.

Meditation is deeply rooted in the Christian tradition.  Today there are over 2,000 Christian meditation groups around the world.  This group follows the practice taught by the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM.org).  The one hour meeting includes quiet music, a short recorded talk on meditation, 20 minutes of silent meditation, and a question and answer period.  Everyone, including newcomers, are very welcome!  For more information, please call the church office at (973) 285-0884.
