Marktplatz
Lynn Schuenzel has agreed to be the Coordinator of Marktplatz this year. As such, she will hold monthly meetings from now until the end of September for planning purposes, and to see that everyone has whatever they need to make their particular part of the Fair a success.
The schedule of Marktplatz meetings are as follows:
- Sunday, July 13 after the 9:00 summer schedule service
- Sunday, August 10 after the 9:00 service
- Sunday, September 7 after the 9:00 service
Come on out to a meeting and help to make this our best Marktplatz ever!
Homeless Solutions: Provide a Saturday Dinner
Homeless Solutions, the county facility for homeless families, has provided us with new dates for 2008. A volunteer sign-up sheet and simple directions for this parish outreach ministry are posted on the Community Care Commission bulletin board, which is located just outside the Lounge. This is a great opportunity for a family or 2-3 adults to join forces to provide a Saturday dinner for the families who make the shelter their home. Please consider committing to a date. Questions?
